Week 14 in review iPhone 8 OLED screens Xiaomi Mi 6 inching closer

After the Galaxy S8 finally embraced officialdom, our top news stories finally contain something other than the flagships leaks. Apple finalized a deal with Samsung Display for curved OLED panels, Huawei launched the impressive Honor 8 Pro with 6 GB RAM and the product presentation of the HTC U leaked in full, revealing a pressure-sensitive frame.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced we should expect the Mi 6 before the end of the month and specs were already leaked on GFXBench. The manufacturer surprised everyone with the launch of the Mi Pad 3, almost two years after its predecessor.
